Launch Meetings for New Report on Bail Hearings

You are invited to the launch of:
‘Immigration Bail Hearings: A Travesty of Justice? Observations from the Public Gallery’ – a report on observations of 115 bail hearings at four immigration courts; organised by the Campaign to Close Campsfield
Oxford: Tuesday 15 March, 7.30pm, Old Library, Town Hall, St Aldates, Oxford
Speakers will include the report’s authors, a former detainee who obtained bail, and an immigration lawyer
London: Tuesday 22 March, 7pm, Committee Room 16, Houses of Parliament, Westminster
Chair: John Mcdonnell MP, other speakers to include Alison Harvey (ILPA), report authors, bailee
Copies of the 60-page illustrated report will be available at these meetings
